Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

A plane transporting Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after a crack was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet landed following standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This incident isn't the initial instance that a American defense plane carrying a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying the US Secretary of State to Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical fault.
